Dhriti and Varun’s wedding was twice as special for us. Two years prior we were blessed to be a part of Dhriti’s sister Sharada’s wedding and therefore the connect with the family was already deep. Planning this wedding was both easy and challenging. Easy because we were already aware of the families tastes and preferences but challenging because the expectations were high and we were working with the same venue.
The celebrations commenced with a traditional groom welcoming. All the singing and dancing and poojas set the perfect tone for the events to come. The festivities then continued with a lively bohemian sangeet under the stars where guests dined, danced, and reveled under the enchanting glow of twinkling lights. As the sun made its presence felt in the wee hours of the morning, the auspicious sound from the nadaswara filled the air, announcing the wedding. Dhriti looked so beautiful and grown up in her lovely kanjeevaram saree dressed as a bride. As planners we are always in awe of this beautiful metamorphosis that takes place in front of our eyes after months of planning.
It was a privilege to be a part of this splendid celebration from the very beginning of choosing the right vendors, discussing décor plans, menu selections, all the way to efficiently managing the events until seeing the last guests off. Dearest Dhriti and Varun, thank you for letting us share in your special day. We wish you all the happiness in the world!
